Join the brightest and best.
Being the world’s largest mobile telecommunications company in terms of revenue, we have 400 million customers across the planet, operate networks in over 30 countries and have partner networks in another 40. We’re all about ‘total communications needs’, which means the convergence of voice, messaging, data and fixed-line solutions.
We strive to be the best, not necessarily the biggest and we think that being the best is largely about simplicity.
We look for high performing individuals with drive and the ability to deliver in a customer centric environment. People who can use their initiative and like us, have the desire to become a pioneer. An interest in technology is essential for anybody joining Vodafone no matter what part of the business you’re with. In return we can offer one of the best working environments in the market, attractive remuneration and a global career with the freedom to explore your abilities and shape your world.
There are 80 opportunities in total on the Discovery Programme in 2014 including 20 technology-focused positions. The scheme works on a rotational basis over 2 years and you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, being given real responsibility, working in a fast-paced ever changing environment and building up a greater knowledge of Vodafone as you go.
There are lots of Technology options available ranging from working within the Innovation Team to Security and you will be supported by the graduate team and wider business to make the right decision when choosing where you would like to work and thinking about your career path.
The majority of roles will be based within our fantastic campus environment in Newbury, Berkshire but you’ll also get the opportunity to work within our retail stores in your first two months as we think it’s important to start out by understanding how the retail business operates from a customer facing role.
Throughout the Discovery Programme you will be supported, developed and will be part of the graduate network, which is very active within the business and socially.
We have a lot to offer and are looking for graduates with self-awareness, drive, determination and technical knowledge.
