The AB InBev Best Beer Competition is your opportunity to showcase your team working skills and creativity whilst working towards the chance of winning some fantastic prizes along the way. It also adds a practical dimension to your studies and the all-important commercial awareness so many employers seek.
How do you enter?
Simple. All you need to do is to get together a team of 2-4 students and design a new beer for your university and APPLY through this website or by email to info@bestbeercompetition.com. Once you’ve applied you’ll have until the entry deadline of 13 February 2013 to submit a project plan and the eight best project plans from each country (the UK and Belgium) which satisfy the competition criteria will be selected to participate in a regional heat where you will present your ideas. Both heats will take place in March 2013 in the UK and Belgium and at each heat there is €3,000 to be won.
The top two teams from each heat will be invited to the Grand Final in Belgium which will take place on 30 April 2013. At the Grand Final the four teams will present their ideas and a winning team will be announced and win €2,500 for themselves and a further €1,500 for charity!
If this sounds like you then the AB InBev Best Beer Competition is waiting for your application! Further details including the prizes on offer, terms and conditions and how to APPLY can be found by clicking on the pages above.
Entrants must be of legal drinking age and registered students at a UK or Belgium university. All team members must be from the same university. The charity prize awarded at the Grand Final will be paid directly to the charity or community project as agreed between the Promoter and the winning Team. For the avoidance of doubt, AB InBev’s decision is final as to which charity or community project the charity prize is awarded to.
*Teams participating from the UK will be paid in Pound Sterling.
