    Welcome to TARGETjobs Events

    TARGETjobs Events host unique events for career focused students of all years to meet and network with graduate employers. Our events are designed to showcase the best UK undergraduates, either through competitions or ‘invitation only’ career events.

    TARGETjobs Events are an excellent opportunity to get you noticed and improve your employability skills. Past winners and attendees have won internships and placements with leading recruiters which has often led to full time employment after graduation.

    Take a look through our upcoming events. You can apply to as many as you feel you are suitable for, all events are pre screened and ‘invitation only’ meaning selected students get quality time with recruiters.

  • Undergraduate of the Year

    TARGETjobs Undergraduate of the Year is our flagship annual competition. For undergraduates in years 1-4 and now entering its Sixth year, Undergraduate of the Year comprises a very special set of awards that focus on the personalities, skills and abilities of students from a range of degree subjects. It provides the opportunity for the very best to emerge and win prizes, ranging from overseas trips to specially commissioned internships.

  • National Student Challenge

    TARGETjobs National Student Challenge

    The TARGETjobs National Student Challenge is an annual online challenge which offers current students the chance to perfect the skills required in real life assessment center scenarios used by graduate recruiters in their selection processes.

    The 2014 challenge is now closed. The Grand Final took place on 6 October 2014 at the Siemens Crystal building in London.

    Women in investment banking

    Women in investment banking, is a one-day event which will bring together leading investment banking employers and high-calibre students. The event consists of a great mix of practical exercises, advice on pursuing a career in this attractive industry and networking - you can develop your knowledge and skills while making important contacts for the future. Applications are not open for the Spring event exclusively for first year students which will take place on Monday 2nd March and will be hosted by Citi in their Canary Wharf offices.

    Future female engineers

    Future female engineers took place on Friday 7 November, at Atkins’ offices in Bristol. Joining Atkins on the day will be key representatives from many other leading engineering employers including Aecom, Atkins, Babcock, BAE Systems, Cummins, DSTL, EDF Energy, Laing O’Rourke, National Grid and NPS Group.

    Applications for our next event will open early 2015.

  • TARGETjobs National Schools Challenge

    TARGETjobs National Schools' Challenge

    Run by TARGETjobs Events, the TARGETjobs National School’s Challenge gives you the chance to benchmark yourself against thousands of students from schools and colleges within your region and across the UK on our LIVE leader boards. Each of the 10 regions across the UK is being sponsored by some great companies. With several leading sponsors on board, you will have the opportunity to meet representatives from these companies at the grand-final. The grand-final will take place in Birmingham on Friday 13th March 2015. The 2015 competition has now closed.

  • Inside City law

    Inside City law
    New for 2015

    Inside City law took place on Monday 19 January. It gave 40 selected students a unique chance to gain an insight into the life of a City lawyer. Students spent the day with two top law firms; RPC where they had the opportunity to network with lawyers, trainees and graduate recruiters.

  • The National Pupillage Fair

    TARGETjobs presents the UK's largest and most established National Pupillage Fair; the best opportunity for students looking for pupillage to meet representatives from chambers, course providers and other organisations essential to a successful career at the Bar.

    The next National Pupillage Fair will take place in March 7th 2015 applications are now open!

  • TARGETjobs Law How to get hired skills workshop

    TARGETjobs Events are running three How to Get Hired skills workshops at UK universities in 2015. The workshops are free to attend and provide the ideal opportunity to find out how to secure a training contract or vacation placement with a leading law firm. Not only that, you will get a valuable chance to meet representatives from up to four leading law firms.
